In 2004, during the annual Harvard-Yale football game, a group of Yale students executed one of the most memorable pranks in Ivy League history. Disguised as a Harvard Prep Squad, they distributed placards to over 1,800 Harvard fans seated in the stands.
The fans were given instructions to raise the placards in a way that would spell out the phrase “Go, Harvard” to cheer on their team. However, when the fans followed the directions, they unknowingly revealed a different message: “We Suck.” This prank quickly became a legendary moment, cementing Yale’s reputation for clever rivalry humor.
