Police rescue 123 women from the ‘Tren de Aragua’ gang

Peruvian police have rescued 123 women who were being sexually exploited by the notorious ‘Tren de Aragua’ gang.

The operation was carried out on Friday in the Peruvian capital, Lima, where 23 members of the gang were arrested.

Local authorities announced that 120 women and 3 minor girls were rescued after this operation.

Tren de Aragua has a wide organization throughout Latin America and in several other countries in the world.

The main base of this gang is in Venezuela and has spread to Peru since 2021.
