A recent study by researchers at Yale University suggests that COVID-19 vaccines may have caused a previously unknown condition, referred to as “post-vaccination syndrome” (PVS), in a certain number of vaccinated individuals.
According to the study, symptoms include extreme fatigue, difficulty with physical exercise, numbness, brain fog, insomnia, heart palpitations, ringing in the ears, dizziness, muscle pain, and biological changes in the immune system.
The study’s summary emphasizes that vaccines have saved millions of lives, but a small portion of the population has reported suffering from this syndrome. The researchers highlight that the main issue is that PVS is not officially recognized by health authorities, limiting patients’ access to treatment and medical support.
Immunologist and lead researcher Dr. Akiko Iwasaki aims to change this situation. She told the *Daily Mail* that scientific research will continue and that additional funding is needed to expand the study to a larger group of people to confirm the current findings.
“Individuals suffering from PVS have felt ignored because this condition is not recognized as a medical issue,” Dr. Iwasaki stated. “I believe that in-depth scientific research will lead to more accurate diagnoses, better treatments, and safer vaccines.”
