Netflix released its latest financial data for the fourth quarter of 2024, PCW reports. While the results are good news for the company’s shareholders, who saw operating profit reach $10 billion and revenue grow by 16 percent, the future looks bleak for users.
Netflix decided to increase prices, with the Standard plan with ads now costing $8 from $7, while the Standard plan without ads is going from $15 to $18 per month.
Prices have also increased for the Premium plans that offer 4K Ultra HD resolution and HDR from $23 to $25. To add another member outside the family to this plan, you have to pay $9, up from $8.
