Authorities in Washington Search for Owner of Five Sheep Found on Clallam County Road
Authorities in Washington are on the lookout for the owner of five sheep discovered wandering along a road in Clallam County.
According to the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office, drivers near Sequim encountered an unexpected obstacle when the sheep entered the roadway on Friday night.
“A concerned neighbor stepped in to guide them away from traffic until officers arrived,” the Sheriff’s Office reported on social media.
Personnel from Center Valley Rescue responded to the scene to ensure the sheep’s safety while officials investigate their origin.
“We hope the owner sees this post and reaches out to Center Valley, as they currently have many sheep looking for homes,” the Sheriff’s Office stated.
“Organizations like Center Valley Rescue play a vital role in supporting animals and assisting law enforcement.”
