Sean “Diddy” Combs and Kim Porter’s twin daughters Jessie Combs and D’Lila Combs paid homage to their late mom for Mother’s Day.
Jessie Combs and D’Lila Combs are remembering a special woman.
Nearly seven years after the late Kim Porter’s unexpected death in 2018, her and ex Sean “Diddy” Combs’ twin daughters paid tribute to their mom on Mother’s Day.
“You were the best mommy anyone could’ve ever had and we are so blessed that god chose you to be our mommy,” Jessie and D’Lila wrote in a May 11 post on their joint Instagram account. “We miss you so very much every single day and we wish you could be here with us today. These last couple years have been sooooo extremely difficult without you by our side.”
“We really wish you were here for these years that we begin to grow and start to mature into young ladies,” they continued. “We are going to follow in your footsteps and always make you proud. I hope you are up there celebrating this beautiful day with your mommy and grandma we miss you all so much!!!”
Along with Jessie and D’Lila, 18, the Three Brown Girls founder and Combs’ sons Quincy Brown, 33, Christian “King” Combs, 26, couldn’t help but praise their mom.
“I feel you more than ever today,” Quincy reflected on a separate Instagram post. “Your love lives in every choice I make & every challenge I face. Living life carrying your strength, your spirit, and your light has allowed me to complete each day with a happy heart. I hope I’m making you proud.”
Meanwhile, Christian echoed his older brother’s thoughts, thanking Kim for uplifting him when he needed it.
“I Love you, wish I could hug you, kiss you and just talk to you,” he wrote on his Instagram. “I love you so much and I know that you are with me still watching over every step I take and every choice I make I love you mommy!!!!”
The siblings’ Mother’s Day tribute comes one day before their dad—who has pleaded not guilty to charges of sex trafficking, prostitution, racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, as well as transportation to engage in prostitution—is set to begin his trial in New York City May 12.
Combs’ kids—including his and ex Misa Hylton‘s son Justin Combs, 30, along with his and ex Sarah Chapman‘s daughter Chance Combs, 19—have confirmed their steadfast support for their dad.
“Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media,” the siblings wrote in a post shared to Quincy’s Instagram in October. “We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family. WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU DAD.”
