As Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial continues to escalate, sources close to the embattled music mogul reveal that his inner circle is quietly exploring the possibility of securing a presidential pardon — potentially from former U.S. President Donald Trump.
Although Combs publicly distanced himself from Trump in recent years, insiders suggest that behind closed doors, desperation has shifted his approach.
“A source familiar with Combs’ mindset says, ‘He’s willing to do anything to get out of jail,’” reports Rolling Stone. “He’s always been this way — prioritizing his freedom above all else.”

Interestingly, the same source highlights a contradiction in Combs’ current strategy. “He doesn’t even like Donald Trump,” the insider emphasizes, underscoring how serious his situation has become.
Despite this, communication between Combs’ team and Trump’s political network is reportedly “ongoing and preliminary,” with efforts centered on “making connections with the Trump team.”
One insider even mentioned that “the words ‘deep state’ came up once or twice,” hinting at language often associated with MAGA circles and theories of government overreach.

While the alliance may appear opportunistic, it’s worth noting that Trump and Combs share a long history. In a 2012 episode of Celebrity Apprentice, Trump called Combs his “friend,” stating: “I love Diddy… he’s a good friend of mine; he’s a good guy.”
When Trump questioned contestant Aubrey O’Day — formerly of Danity Kane and a Bad Boy artist — about her opinion on Combs, she replied, “I don’t want to answer that question… I’m the full-blown f**king story of that.” Trump then responded, “I’m going to stick up for him.”
