A gunman opened fire at a shopping mall in Santa Monica, California, injuring at least one police officer.
Gunshots were heard near the city’s 3rd Street promenade on Wednesday afternoon.
Local authorities said the shooter remains at large, while the search for the gunman is ongoing.
It was not immediately clear whether the injured officer was shot, although he was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
