Amina Buddafly Reveals She and Her Daughters Are Homeless After Losing Los Angeles Residence
Amina Buddafly has shared that she and her two daughters with Peter Gunz are currently without a permanent home following the loss of their Los Angeles residence. In a heartfelt TikTok video posted on June 24, the former Love & Hip Hop: New York star explained that she has now relocated to her hometown of Hamburg, Germany.
“Day one of waking up in Germany after losing our home in LA,” she said in the video, lying down. “Me and my kids moved out, stored most of our belongings or disposed of them… We don’t have a home right now.” Amina mentioned that she and her children are staying with family while she works on a plan to rebuild. “Thank God for family,” she added. “We’ll be here until I figure it out, because I always do.”
The singer and former reality star said she parted with the majority of her belongings before leaving the country. “I threw my whole life in the trash. 80 percent of what we owned, and I didn’t own anything valuable anyway to begin with,” she said. “It feels very good to not have much, but have what’s important, which is love.”

Although Amina Buddafly has kept a low profile on TV in recent years, she made a brief return to the Love & Hip Hop franchise through its reunion specials: Love & Hip Hop Awards: Most Certified and 40 Greatest Love & Hip Hop Moments: The Reboot. Now residing in Germany, she says her focus is on moving forward with purpose. “I only want what’s valuable to me,” she shared. “Stay tuned for what’s next.”
Peter Gunz became aware of her video and announced that he will host a live session today at 1 PM (June 25) to share his perspective on her current situation.
“Really thought we gave the world enough of our private life, but the show must go on and this needs to be addressed. Join me live at 1 PM Eastern,” he posted on Instagram.

Six days before sharing her life update about losing her home, Amina appeared in a now-viral TikTok alongside Gunz. In the clip, she’s seen asking a question that seemingly was about their past dynamic and prompted many to now wonder if he’s supporting her during this period of hardship.
In the clip, Amina presents a scenario that resonated with longtime Love & Hip Hop fans: “One guy is in love with two women — he’s completely honest with one and lying to the other about everything. Which one does he love?” This seemingly alluded to Peter Gunz’s past love triangle involving Amina and his other children’s mother, Tara Wallace.
Gunz quickly responded, “Oh, he loves both of them,” prompting Amina to laugh knowingly.
After the video, a user commented, “Amina, you have to let him go. It’s getting ridiculous. He openly loved Tara, and you’re in the dark…
In response, Amina shared another post, saying, “Apparently, when I post with my ex-husband, I go viral. Y’all take this way too seriously. Y’all are in your feelings and think you know everything. I’ve got gray hair now. I was young when I was on Love & Hip Hop. I’m 42 years old. That was over 10 years ago. And y’all still holding onto that?”
She explained that the occasional content featuring her ex isn’t about rekindling anything — it’s about recognizing the power of social media. “All I gotta do is post a video with my ex-husband, and I’ll go viral on TikTok, which equals money,” she added.
