Lil Tay, a controversial Canadian TikToker (real name: Claire Hope), born in 2007, created an OnlyFans account to celebrate her 18th birthday — and claims to have made $1 million in the first three hours, setting a new record on the platform.
“One minute after midnight on my birthday, I started making content,” she said.
According to Lil Tay, adult content studios had been contacting her even before she turned 18, offering her contracts worth $30-40 million. She turned them down, believing she could earn the money herself.
The backlash was immediate: users are raising concerns not only about the hypersexualization, but also about the disturbing fact that interest in her OnlyFans account had grown even before she was legally an adult.
