A satirical post on social media falsely identified porn star Johnny Sins as the pilot of a Delta plane that crashed in Toronto on Monday. The X user shared an image of Sins in a pilot’s uniform, captioned: “This is Jonathan Simpson, the pilot of the Delta plane that crashed in Toronto, Canada.”
With claims of over 420 flight hours across 69 aircraft types, the post humorously credited Sins with saving lives. One user commented, “Can this hero get an RT?” While some recognized the joke—given Sins’ reputation for playing various characters in adult films—others seemed to take it seriously.
Comments varied, with one user noting, “420 hours is a lot,” while another questioned the validity of such flying experience for multiple aircraft types. Eventually, the post was marked as false and “AI-generated.” As of now, Delta has not officially named the pilot or pilots involved in the incident, which saw the passenger plane roll onto an icy runway with 80 people on board.
