Viral Sensation: The Strange Handshake Between Trump and Macron

Trump and Macron Share Awkward Handshakes During Washington Meeting

US President Donald Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron exchanged three awkward handshakes during their recent meeting in Washington, where they discussed efforts to end the war in Ukraine, a conflict ignited by Russia three years ago.

Their handshakes have become a topic of interest over the years, with a notable 2017 video capturing the leaders holding hands for an unprecedented 29 seconds.

During their latest encounter, the first handshake took place outside the White House during a press conference, where Trump and Macron held hands for 12 seconds.

Inside the Oval Office, amidst their discussions, Trump placed his hand on Macron’s leg, prompting an immediate response from the French leader, who shook it off.

The final handshake occurred the same day at the press conference, where Trump awkwardly extended his hand while standing in front of reporters.
