Twitter’s Iconic Logo Auctioned Off with Starting Bid Exceeding $23,000

The Twitter brand name may no longer be officially in use, but those interested in preserving the iconic blue bird logo have a chance to do so—if they can meet the price.

The emblem, which was one of two birds displayed at Twitter’s headquarters, is currently available for auction.

Weighing in at approximately 250 kilograms, the large logo has become synonymous with the social media platform. Bidding for the “Larry” logo has already surpassed $23,000, with auction house RR Auction estimating the final price could reach as high as $40,000.

Since Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter in 2022, numerous items from the company’s previous offices have been put up for auction, making this the second “Larry” to hit the auction block. A smaller variant of the logo previously sold for $100,000, while another large logo from the same building was auctioned off for an undisclosed amount.
