Misa Hylton Responds to Backlash Over Diddy Trial Appearance: “I’m a Mother First”
Misa Hylton has spoken out amid criticism following her appearance at Diddy’s trial, emphasizing her priority as a mother. “My children come first,” she stated. “That’s the most important thing in my life.”
Still healing from a recent injury, Hylton explained that she initially intended to recover privately. However, her desire to support her son motivated her to attend despite her physical limitations.
“God is good all the time!” she shared. “Yes, I’m doing well. I’m on a healing journey. When I suffered my injury, I chose to heal privately, but when my son said, ‘Mommy, I need you,’ I was there
for him — walker and all.”
Addressing her critics directly, Hylton added, “If anyone doesn’t understand that, they’re simply not in alignment with me or my values. I live a purpose-driven life, making an impact every day. I’m not concerned with insecure people trying to project their insecurities onto me. Ever.”
Her attorney, Nicholas Ramcharitar, also defended her character, praising her dedication as a mother. “Misa Hylton is a wonderful mother,” he said. “She has beautiful children. Christian and Justin are both exceptional young men. I’ve had the privilege of working with them, and it’s clear they are a testament to the love and guidance Misa and Sean have provided.”
