This statement comes amid ongoing debates surrounding Epstein’s death, which many believe was suspicious. Former U.S. President Donald Trump previously angered supporters by stating he would not release additional files related to Epstein. Trump’s comments followed claims that his name appeared in some of Epstein’s files.
Recently, the FBI announced that there is no existing list of Epstein’s clients, contradicting earlier claims by Trump’s former Attorney General, Pam Bondi, who stated that she had a copy of such a list on her desk. Trump had also promised supporters for years that he would release a “celebrity client list,” which was rumored to include prominent celebrities and politicians.
Both the FBI and the Justice Department have dismissed theories that Epstein was murdered in prison, affirming that his death was a suicide. Trump, who appears in at least one old video at a party hosted by Epstein, has denied that his name is in any dossier related to Epstein’s activities.
He has also stated that he had no direct contact with Epstein and that they “had not been friends for at least 18 years before his death.” Additionally, The Wall Street Journal published a birthday letter that Trump sent to Epstein, adding another layer to the ongoing controversy.
