Alexis Ohanian, Serena Williams’ husband, has reacted to her spectacular performance during Kendrick Lamar’s performance at the 2025 Super Bowl.
The Reddit co-founder shared a photo from the VIP stand on X (formerly Twitter), writing: “Awesome performance!”
Serena, now 43 and retired from tennis, appeared as a dancer in the song “Not Like Us”, a diss to Drake – her ex-boyfriend, writes DailyMail.
On the other hand, the Canadian rapper didn’t seem thrilled, going on a rant about his exes during a concert in Australia just hours before the performance.
Ohanian, known for his support for his wife, responded to criticism of Serena’s dance, recalling that she was also harshly judged at Wimbledon in 2012 for a similar move.
He reposted a satirical comment by Samuel L. Jackson about prejudice against African-American culture, linking it to previous criticism of Serena Williams.
Serena and Ohanian began dating in 2015, following her split from Drake. They got engaged in 2016, married in 2017, and have two daughters: Alexis Olympia (6) and Adira River (15 months).
