The American TV star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian, 45, revealed that she used ChatGPT while studying for her law exam and claims that Artificial Intelligence hindered her more than it helped. Kim spoke about her experience with AI in an interview for Vanity Fair’s “Lie Detector Test” series, where fellow actress Teyana Taylor asked her about different aspects of her life — from love advice to her relationship with technology.
When asked if she uses ChatGPT for life advice, love tips, or perhaps even sees it as a “friend,” Kardashian initially replied no. However, she admitted that she does use it for legal advice while preparing for exams. “Whenever I need an answer to a legal question, I take a picture of the assignment and upload it to ChatGPT. But it often leads me to the wrong answer, so I keep failing my tests because of it. Then I get frustrated and start yelling at it,” Kim said.
Taylor joked, asking if that meant she and ChatGPT were actually friends and rivals at the same time.
“Yes, exactly,” Kim confirmed. “And then it replied: ‘This just teaches you to trust your instincts — you knew the answer all along.’”
According to Vanity Fair, a polygraph operator confirmed that Kardashian was not lying when she talked about her use of ChatGPT.
