A Michigan man who consistently played the same combination of lottery numbers for four years found that his dedication paid off with a $1.3 million jackpot.
The 54-year-old resident of Wayne County purchased a Lotto 47 ticket featuring the numbers 04-08-17-28-36-43, according to reports by Telegrafi.
“I’ve been playing this specific set of numbers for four years,” he shared.
At last, his persistence was rewarded with a staggering jackpot of $1.3 million.
“When I scanned my ticket using the lottery app, and I saw the numbers lighting up, I thought to myself, ‘This is a dream come true,’” he recalled.
“Winning feels incredible and provides my family and me with financial freedom,” the lucky winner added.
