British actor Adam Pearson has recently become the target of hurtful remarks on social media due to his appearance, prompting him to respond to the hurtful comments.
He was spotted attending the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards in London, where he walked the red carpet alongside his cast members from the film “A Different Man.”
Following the event, a user on X shared a photograph of Pearson and his co-star Warwick Davis, accompanied by a cruel comment: “Was this an awards show or a circus?”
In response, Pearson stated, “Has anyone learned anything? Let me be clear, this is about the BAFTAs. I find it a bit ironic that on your profile you claim to spread kindness while insulting two successful actors simply because they have disabilities. Take your prejudice somewhere else.”
Pearson lives with neurofibromatosis, a rare genetic disorder that leads to the growth of benign tumors throughout the body. He began his acting career in 2013 with the film “Under the Skin.”
