Jean-Claude Van Damme Faces Controversy Over Allegations of Relationships with Trafficked Women

Jean-Claude Van Damme Accused of Involvement with Trafficked Romanian Women

Jean-Claude Van Damme is facing serious allegations regarding his interactions with multiple Romanian women, who are reportedly victims of human trafficking.

According to a report by Antena 3 CNN on Wednesday, a criminal complaint has been lodged with the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) in Romania. The complaint accuses the 64-year-old actor and martial arts champion of engaging in sexual relations with five women who were allegedly trafficked by a criminal organization linked to Romanian businessman and modeling agency owner Morel Bolea.

The report states that these women were reportedly “presented to him as gifts,” with the alleged incidents occurring in Cannes during an event organized by Van Damme. However, the specific timeline of these events has not been disclosed.

Lawyer Adrian Cuculis, representing one of the alleged victims, highlighted that the women were in a vulnerable state and may have been exploited under Article 182 of the Romanian Criminal Code.

“At one point in Cannes, during an event organized by Jean-Claude Van Damme, Romanian nationals currently under investigation for forming a criminal group and engaging in illegal exploitation of women allegedly offered the actor five Romanian models for sexual relations,” Cuculis stated in an English translation.

“The testimonies from witnesses indicate that Jean-Claude Van Damme was aware that these individuals were being exploited,” the lawyer added.
