Megan Thee Stallion Announces Inaugural Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala and Shares Future Plans

Megan Thee Stallion has revealed exciting new initiatives for her nonprofit organization. The Houston rapper announced her first-ever Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala, scheduled to take place at Gotham Hall in New York City on July 16.

According to Billboard, the event will be hosted by Taraji P. Henson and will feature DJ D-NICE spinning at the turntables. A special musical guest will also be announced closer to the event date. The gala aims to bring together influential figures from various industries—including business, sports, philanthropy, and entertainment—for an elegant evening dedicated to giving back.

Founded in 2022 by Megan, the Pete & Thomas Foundation honors her late parents, Holly Thomas and Joseph Pete Jr. Its mission, as stated on its official website, is to provide resources and support to foster meaningful change in the lives of women, children, senior citizens, and underserved communities both in Houston and around the world.

The foundation’s programs focus on key areas such as education, housing, health and wellness, and community outreach. In 2024 alone, the Pete & Thomas Foundation impacted over 8,600 individuals through initiatives like the Hottie Walk in Los Angeles, the Emergency Power Program, and the annual Megan Thee Stallion Day of community service and giving.

“Launching the Pete & Thomas Foundation is one of the most meaningful endeavors I’ve ever undertaken in my career,” Megan, 30, shared. “My family raised me to help others and give back, so I’m incredibly proud to be in a position to do just that. I feel a responsibility to use my platform to make a real difference in the lives of those who lack access to resources and support.”
