Why Pedro Pascal Thinks Dakota Johnson Should Start an OnlyFans

Dakota Johnson shared that her friend and Materialists costar Pedro Pascal had an interesting idea for her: join OnlyFans for toe content.

It may take some persuasion for Dakota Johnson to try out Pedro Pascal‘s latest idea.

After all, she revealed the eyebrow-raising side hustle that her Materialists costar encouraged her to pursue.

“Pedro Pascal told me that I should have an OnlyFans. That I could just like wiggle my toe and I’d make money,” Dakota told Elle UK in a video published May 16. “Should I do that?”

She continued, “I would look at OnlyFans models on Instagram if I knew how to do that. Sounds intriguing.”

While Dakota won’t be making her way to OnlyFans anytime soon, she has been busy. Indeed, beyond her new movie with Pedro and Chris Evans, she’s also been hard at work on Verity, the adaptation of the Colleen Hoover movie she’s starring in alongside Josh Hartnett and Anne Hathaway.

In the film, set for release in May 2026, Dakota will play Lowen, a ghostwriter hired to complete the work of Anne’s titular best-selling author who is catatonic after a shocking accident. And while it seems the adaptation, like it’s source material, will be full of jaw-dropping twists and turns, Josh revealed that behind the scenes on the film was nothing short of incredible.

“We had a really fantastic time,” the Oppenheimer actor, who will play Verity’s husband Jeremy, told E! News earlier this month. “Annie and I talked about working together before and when this came along—she’s producing it—and they sent it to me, I was like, ‘Yeah of course, I really want to work with you.’”

As for his experience with Dakota, Josh, simply gushed, “She’s fantastic.”

Of course, Dakota isn’t a stranger to forming fast friendships on her movie sets. Case in point? Fifty Shades costar Jamie Dornan, who, despite initial feud rumors, is a close friend a decade after they first worked together.

“There was never a time when we didn’t get along,” Dakota told Vanity Fair in 2022. “I know it’s weird, but he’s like a brother to me. I love him so, so, so much. And we were really there for each other. We had to really trust each other and protect each other.”

Queen of Truth

In perhaps one of her most infamous TV moments, Dakota Johnson called out Ellen DeGeneres for not attending her 30th birthday party.

After the comedian joked on a 2019 episode of her eponymous talk show that she “wasn’t invited,” Dakota dryly retorted, “Actually, no—that’s not the truth, Ellen.”

The actress proceeded to point out that Ellen gave her “a bunch of s–t” the last time she was on the show about not being invited, so Dakota made sure she was included on the guest list this time around.

“I didn’t even know you liked me,” Dakota told Ellen. “I did invite you, but you didn’t come.”

Viral Fame

When asked about the viral Ellen interview four years later, Dakota simply told L’Officiel, “It will haunt me.”

Fifty Shades of Candid

Dakota got very candid about her experience filming the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise years after its final movie, revealing that author E.L. James “had a lot of creative control” and “demanded that certain things happen.”

“There were parts of the books that just wouldn’t work in a movie, like the inner monologue, which was at times incredibly cheesy,” she told Vanity Fair in 2022, explaining how the writer often clashed with the studio and the director. “It was like mayhem all the time.”

In fact, Dakota believes no one would’ve signed onto the project if they “had known at the time that’s what it was going to be like.”

As she noted, “It would’ve been like, ‘Oh, this is psychotic.'”

E.L. has not publicly responded to Dakota’s comments.
