According to sources at DailyMail, the 10-year friendship between Taylor Swift and Blake Lively has come to an end.
The breakup is reportedly linked to a legal dispute involving Blake Lively, actor Justin Baldoni, and allegations that Lively involved Swift inappropriately. Court documents reveal that Lively allegedly threatened to release private messages unless Swift publicly supported her in the legal battle over Baldoni’s film, It Ends With Us. Although Swift was called as a witness, she has reportedly tried to remain uninvolved in the controversy.
Sources close to the situation indicate that the 35-year-old singer has decided to cut ties with Blake Lively. Additionally, mutual friend Gigi Hadid is said to have distanced herself from Lively as well. Notably, Hadid did not invite Lively to her birthday celebration last month, which is seen as a sign of the growing rift.
Amid the controversy, Lively has been accused of attempting to manipulate public opinion and using Swift to garner support. Court documents also allege that Lively referred to Swift and her husband as “my dragons” in a pressure tactic against Baldoni.
