Just over a week ago, the trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs officially began. The rapper and mogul faces serious allegations, including rape, blackmail, human trafficking for sexual exploitation, and transportation for prostitution.
On Tuesday, following a court session, Diddy addressed the courtroom, sending a heartfelt message to those present. “I love you all,” he stated, according to People magazine, adding, “Yes. With love.” He then turned to a woman sitting in the gallery and said, “Please tell Justin I’m thinking of him,” presumably referring to his 30-year-old son, Justin Dior Combs.
This was not the first time Diddy has expressed affection during court proceedings. According to reports, on the trial’s second day, he formed a heart shape with his hands as he was led to his seat, which many interpreted as a gesture of love and support for his family. Several of his children attended the trial; Diddy has a total of seven children—including sons Quincy Brown (33) and Christian “King” (27), as well as daughters Chance (18), twins D’Lila and Jessie (18), and Love (2).
During the proceedings, an unexpected mention of former U.S. President Barack Obama occurred. Diddy’s former assistant, David James, testified that guests at Diddy’s parties often consumed pills shaped like Obama’s face. However, James clarified that Obama himself never attended these parties.
One of the most notable testimonies came from Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura, Diddy’s former girlfriend. She claimed that Diddy threatened to release a sex tape if she refused to attend one of his infamous parties. Cassie first brought up this conversation on the first day of her testimony.
