Diddy Faces Allegations of Threatening Ex-Girlfriend with Release of Intimate Videos

Sean “Diddy” Combs Accused of Assaulting Ex-Girlfriend and Threatening to Release Intimate Videos

American rapper and producer Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing serious allegations of repeatedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend, singer Cassandra Ventura, known by her stage name Cassie, and threatening to publicly humiliate her by sharing intimate videos online, according to Reuters.

The allegations were made public on Wednesday by stylist Deonte Nash, who worked with Combs and Ventura from 2008 to 2018. Nash testified during Combs’ trial in New York. Combs is also accused of sex trafficking and other serious crimes.

Nash recounted an incident from 2013 or 2014, stating, “He said, ‘You did your dirty work. I’m going to put your videos online,’” referring to a threat made during that period.

Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty to five charges, including sex trafficking and operating a criminal enterprise. If convicted, he faces the possibility of life imprisonment.

Additionally, last week, rapper Kid Cudi, whose real name is Scott Mescudi, testified that his car was burned in 2012 shortly after Combs learned he was having an affair with Cassie.

Prosecutors argue that the burning of Kid Cudi’s car was part of a series of violent or illegal acts committed by Combs or those around him to intimidate and cover up alleged abuse. They claim that Combs forced women, including Cassie, to participate in orgies lasting days, involving drug use and sex workers at events referred to as “Freak Offs” parties.

Ventura herself testified over four days, providing detailed accounts of the physical and psychological abuse she alleges she suffered at Combs’ hands.

“I hated ‘Freak Offs.’ I only attended because I loved him and because I was afraid of his reaction if I didn’t,” she told the court.

Combs’ attorneys have acknowledged that he was abusive in some relationships but argue that any participation in “Freak Offs” events was consensual.
