Firefighters Rescue Young Deer Trapped in Metal Fence in England
Firefighters in England recently came to the rescue of a young deer that had become entangled while attempting to climb through a metal fence.
A crew from Redbridge Fire Station responded to a call about an animal in distress. Upon arrival, they discovered the deer stuck at the hip between the bars of the fence, unable to free itself.
“The deer was caught in the fence and appeared unsure of which way to go,” the fire service stated in a press release.
Using hydraulic equipment, the firefighters carefully widened the metal bars, creating enough space for the deer to escape safely.
