**David Beckham Reveals He Gave Up Alcohol for 14 Weeks to Prepare for ‘Boss’ Commercial**
Former footballer David Beckham has shared that he abstained from alcohol for 14 weeks to ensure he was in peak condition for the filming of the “Boss” advertisement, which premiered in January 2025.
He emphasized that the entire shoot went exceptionally well after his rigorous 14-week training regimen. “I actually told my team, I’m not going back to my underwear. And then we signed the deal with Boss,” Beckham recounted.
In addition, the former England captain, who released his Netflix documentary “Beckham” in 2023, mentioned that he drew inspiration from Michael Jordan’s acclaimed series “The Last Dance.”
