Italian model Bianca Balti recently opened up on her Instagram about her life following the completion of chemotherapy.
In her post, she reflected on her feelings during the first month after treatment and shared the positive news that her hair is beginning to grow back.
Alongside a heartfelt photo, Bianca wrote, “The craziest month of my life. Crazy good (not crazy bad). As good as the first month after chemotherapy could feel. My hair is growing, and life is bringing new challenges.”
The model also made a notable appearance at Paris Fashion Week, demonstrating her recovery and commitment to her career.
Bianca began her chemotherapy journey last year after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She has been candid about her battle with the disease on social media.
“I went to the emergency room and discovered that my lower abdominal pain was actually stage 3C ovarian cancer. It’s been a week filled with fear, pain, and tears, but also with love, hope, laughter, and strength. I have a long road ahead of me, but I know I will prevail. For myself and my loved ones (my daughters come first). One silver lining is that cancer has given me the opportunity to find beauty despite life’s challenges,” Bianca shared alongside an emotional photo from her hospital bed.
After finishing her chemotherapy, the 40-year-old dazzled on the second night of Sanremo, the renowned Italian Eurovision song contest. Her performance captivated the audience, and she served as one of the evening’s hosts.
Bianca received her diagnosis in September of last year, following severe abdominal pain that led her to seek emergency medical care.
