Cassie Reads Diddy’s Texts Following 2016 Hotel Incident During Court Testimony
In court, Cassie Ventura has disclosed the texts she received from Sean “Diddy” Combs after an incident caught on hotel surveillance footage in Los Angeles. The footage shows Combs allegedly assaulting her during a hotel stay in 2016, an event she has been describing as part of his ongoing trial.
Combs, who faces charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transporting individuals for prostitution—charges to which he has pleaded not guilty—stands accused of multiple serious crimes. During her testimony, Cassie recounted the distressing aftermath of the incident, including the series of messages she received from him.
She testified that following the incident, she was repeatedly contacted by Combs via text, with messages such as:
- “Call me”
- “Yo pls call me”
- “I got six kids”
- “Pls call me”
- “Yo pls call Im surrounded”
- “Call me”
- “For my kids help”
Cassie explained that she responded to these messages by writing, “Put the robe on,” indicating she was concerned because he was running around in a towel, and she was just trying to look out for him. She further testified that he continued to message her with “Call me” and “Call now,” and, as she was leaving the hotel in a taxi, he sent her a message saying, “Call me the cops are here you’re going to abandon me all alone.”
In response, Cassie texted back: “I have a black eye and a fat lip. You are sick for thinking it’s okay to do what you’ve done. Please stay far away from me.”
On May 13, Cassie also spoke about Diddy’s alleged “freak off” parties, which are described as elaborate events involving sex performances. She revealed that during the first year of their relationship, Combs proposed the idea of “freak offs,” which involved hiring an escort and setting up an experience for her to perform for him.
Cassie and Combs ended their relationship in 2018.
