King Charles’ Wealth Surges This Year Due to Inheritance from Queen Elizabeth

King Charles’ Wealth Increases by €35 Million in a Year, Mainly Due to Inheritance from Queen Elizabeth II

Britain’s King Charles saw his total wealth grow by €35 million last year, bringing his net worth to over €750 million. This impressive increase places him on par with UK figures like Rishi Sunak and his wife, Akshata Murty.

Since ascending the throne in 2022, Charles now ranks 238th among the 350 wealthiest individuals and families in the UK, climbing 20 places from the previous year, according to The Sunday Times.

The publication reports that Charles is €165 million richer than the Beckhams, whose combined fortune is estimated at €590 million.

A significant portion of King Charles’s wealth stems from inheritance received from his mother, Queen Elizabeth II. The Sunday Times notes that his assets include the private estates of Sandringham in Norfolk and Balmoral in Aberdeenshire, which were previously owned by Queen Elizabeth II.

It’s important to mention that the wealth estimates by The Sunday Times focus solely on personal assets and do not include the Crown’s assets or the royal family’s official holdings.

In other royal news, on the second anniversary of King Charles’s coronation, two official state portraits of him and Queen Camilla were unveiled in the Central Hall of the National Gallery in London.
