Jessie J shares shocking news with fans – reveals she has been diagnosed…

Jessie J Reveals Early-Stage Breast Cancer Diagnosis Amid Personal and Professional Milestones

British singer Jessie J has shared a heartfelt and personal update with her followers: she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

In an emotional post on social media, the 37-year-old artist explained that her cancer was caught early. “Cancer is terrible in any form, but I’m leaning towards the word ‘early,’” she wrote, according to DailyMail.

Jessie disclosed that she received her diagnosis before releasing her latest song, No Secrets, which debuted on April 25. She announced that she will undergo surgery after performing at the ‘Summertime Ball’ in London on June 15.

After taking a four-year hiatus to welcome her son, Sky, with her partner, basketball player Chanan Colman, Jessie J made a powerful comeback with No Secrets. The song marked a significant milestone in her career.

In a candid video, Jessie shared her thoughts: “I hesitated for a while about whether to share this or not. But I feel like I want to. I’ve always shared everything with my fans, and I feel like I have to.”

She revealed, “I was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer before No Secrets came out. I went through a lot of tests during that time, but I haven’t fully processed it emotionally because I’ve been so busy with work.”

The singer, whose real name is Jessica Cornish, plans to have surgery this summer. Meanwhile, she continues to promote her music energetically, including a memorable performance of “The Award Goes To” at the BAFTA Television Awards.

“I wanted to be open because, perhaps selfishly, I haven’t talked about it enough. I’m not experiencing it emotionally enough because I’ve been so busy with projects,” she explained.

Jessie also emphasized the importance of sharing her story: “Talking about it and connecting with others who are going through similar struggles has always helped me cope. It breaks my heart that so many people face even harder battles.”

With a touch of humor, she added: “To be diagnosed with this just as I was planning to release songs called No Secrets and Living My Best Life… couldn’t be more ironic.”

Jokingly, she quipped: “A very dramatic way to get a boob job. I’ll disappear after the Summertime Ball to have the surgery, and I’ll be back with new breasts and new music.”

In her caption, Jessie humorously wrote: “I have no more secrets now… Or is it too early to do a remix called Living My Breast Life?”

She further reflected: “All joking aside (because it’s how I cope), these past two months have been incredible, but behind the scenes, this news has given me a whole new perspective.”

In an Instagram Story, she shared: “I just shared something very personal I’ve been keeping to myself for nine weeks. It’s been a strange but beautiful time. Now I need to process it… and I could really use a hug.”

She concluded with heartfelt gratitude: “You’ve always loved me through the good and the bad. I want this to be no different.”
