Guinness Record Holders Reunite in Idaho to Break Record for Most Consecutive Baseball Catches in a Minute
David Rush, renowned for holding multiple Guinness World Records, reunited with his former neighbor and record-breaking partner, Jonathan “Hollywood” Hannon, in Boise, Idaho, to attempt a new challenge: the most back-to-back baseball catches in one minute.
The two had a long history of collaboration, having been neighbors and setting over 30 world records together across various categories—from speed challenges to coordination feats—before Hannon relocated to Michigan, the Telegraph reports.
Reflecting on their partnership, Rush shared, “We pushed each other to the limit and beyond, constantly striving to break new records and test our limits.”
During their reunion, they decided to compete for the record of most consecutive baseball catches in one minute, which was previously set at 30.
“It wasn’t an instant success. We started with warm-ups, dealt with some missed throws, but gradually found our rhythm,” Rush explained. “Once we were in sync, the chemistry was just like old times.”
